How do you indent an existing task in Android v2? I can move tasks up and down but don't know how to move them sideways.

try to move the child candidate task "OVER" the parent candidate task. "OVER" means over until you see that the parent candidate will become green. Then release the task.

Thanks, that worked to indent, but how do I get it to "outdent" so it goes back to where it was before?

I found a workaround. I'm able to cut and paste a record to put it where it needs to be, but am still looking for a way to move it to the left in "move" mode. Is there a way?

Drag the task up and drop it just before the item that is currently its parent. That will outdent or promote it. If you want the task to wind up below its current parent you can drag it a sevond time after it has been promoted.

Thanks, I dragged the task on the parent to indent and above the parent to outdent.
