Can I use same registration to use MLO on two different computers (work and home)

I use MLO on two different computers (will synchronize from same file). Do I have to pay twice? It is not working when I put in the same registration key.

Your MLO-Windows license allows activation on up to five computers using the same key, at no extra cost. Please double-check that you've entered the key correctly. You need to uninstall the software from that device to exclude it from the active devices counter.

This brings up a question that will always come up: What if the hard drive data is lost so we need to re-install on a new computer but have no way to uninstall the old one?
