Does anyone else find auto-inherited subtask dates annoying?

Are there plans to add an option in future releases to disable automatic date inheritance for subtasks? Manually removing dates after each addition is so cumbersome.

Yes, I find auto-inherited parent dates irritating and would prefer the functionality to be optional.

Very annoying.  I too wish there was a setting to disable this.
