I am a user of the cloud sync service and heavy rely on the email to MLO capability. Question: Is it possible to have the task parsing work on incoming email tasks? In other words, I want to send tasks to specific folders or projects.

Thanks for any thoughts,
Chris

I don’t think you can do an automatic parse as tasks arrive from mlo-by-email. But what you can do is this:

Send tasks to mlo by email with correctly formatted parseable commands (eg submit expense report @accounting –tofldWork)

On some regular basis, eg start-of-day, go to the inbox where you will find your tasks waiting to be parsed.

Click on each one and hit alt-Enter. If it’s still there, hit Alt-Enter a second time, and it will go to where it belongs. I’m not certain but I think if you click on the task caption in the task list, causing MLO to open a text box around the caption, then the first alt-enter will do the job and you wont have to hit it a second time.

FYI this is actually documented in the user guide, though I forget what they call it.
