Hi everyone,

Unfortunately, I have a hard time sticking with MLO, so when I get back to it again, I have to learn all over again. :-(

I thought I had done searches in the Android in the past, but now I cannot find such a function. Am I dreaming, or am I missing an obvious search feature?

Thanks!

Hi, Keith, you present an easy issue and a hard one. The easy issue: to search on MLO/Android, hit the hamburger (menu) icon in the upper left corner to bring up the list of views. Drag the view menu down and the search box will appear at the top. Hard to find, hard to remember, but easy to use once you remember it.

Hard issue: why are you having a hard time sticking with MLO? My guess is that the help you are getting from MLO is less than the work you are putting into it. One possibility is that you are putting too much work into it. It's easy to try to get a perfect setup, spending countless hours tweaking to get it perfect. If that's the issue, you could try giving up on perfection and just going for "good enough".

Thanks a lot for that, Dwight. I remembered that I'd initially found it
by accident, and you're right, it's hard to remember. I wonder why it's
hidden that way?

You're absolutely right about that. I've been trying for well over 10
years to get in the habit of using the desktop version. I've tried to
take the best of GTD, Zoom for Focused Action, Franklin-Covey, etc. and
they don't really all work mashed together like that. It's hard to give
up on perfection, perfectionist that I am, but I'll try. ;-)

Thanks again,
Keith

Wonferfull, I didn't ever missed a search function, and instead I was using the filter function. This search function is good, and "new" for me. You made my day.
