Hi MLO-Super-Developer-Team

I'm using the flags as kanban columns i.e. Someday, Backlog Release, Backlog_Iteration1, Backlog_Iteration+1, Upcoming, This_week, Next, in_Progress, (Done=Completed).

That's why I would be able to change the flag information also in the iOS-App - I like this App very much. Its simply the best one on market, I think.

Could you give a hint or an information, if its planned in future?

Would be nice.

Greetz from the sunny Switzerland.

Heinz a MLO-User since years!

I would really like to know how's the way to change the flag at the iOS-App!

Is there somebody who can help me? - Maybe Lisa? (I like your posts)

Thank you!  But I'm not an iOS user so can't help with this one...though if iOS has flags and Android doesn't, I'm a bit miffed, as I pushed hard for this feature on Android. Ah well, that's how progress goes, and I don't use flags currently since I changed my use model to move away from them.

You can have a view grouped by flag in iOS now.  But you cannot edit flags, or add flags etc..

Hi Lisa, the real Super User of MLO

I've created a custom view "my flags" and so I can see all my tasks grouped by flags and sorted by date second. this is my daily list with big rocks (flag 1), musts (flag 2) and maybes (flag 3). Then this week (flag 3), next week (flag 4) and upcoming (flag 5). With the star-flag and the due-date I can sort as I like to work them down to zero.

That's why I need to change the flag in the iOS-App. But after reading all posts, I've understood there's no possibility to change the flag information - not by moving and not by change the value of the flag.

So I could change my concept to yours like contexts or goals but a flag is one click to change and the context is two clicks to change and it's possible to forgot the second one and the chaos is perfect.

To come to an end of this discussion: I handle the flags in the desktop version and during the day I live with that. Love it, change it or leave it. I prefer LOVE IT!

Thank you Lisa for all your helpful comments and blogs to MLO. I'm happy when I can read something that you have written.

So long....Heinz

Ah, I think I understand. There is no way to change what flag a task has in iOS? Surely that is an oversight, if so.

I think it is reasonable to not allow changing of the flag name and ordering on the mobile device. But a task should be able to be flagged with the flag of your choice, hopefully as defined on the desktop.

Thank you for your kind words!

I also would like to change a task's flag in the mobile app (Android in my case).

It think it would not be to difficult nor slow to implement.

Hello Heinz,

This thread started a long time ago - I take it you've seen that you now have full control of flags in iOS.

All the best,
Stéphane

Thank you. I posted something similar a while ago, and from that day I check every new release, but until now with no success, so every time I get a "not yet" I fill a light sorrow, but I know that you have a large amount of requests and new functions to develop. Thank you.

I will wait
