I would like to modify background and font of tasks based on contexts
How can I do that on Android ? If I create a custom formatting rule on pc, will it be synced to Android ?  Thank you for your help

I don’t think you can use custom formatting on Android. (Obviously), you can use automatic formatting on desktop, which I use all the time.  But I’ve never seen such features on Android.

You can't do custom formatting with a rule on Android, you have have manually format the task. You can set it up for subtasks to inherit the formatting but not automatically.

With MLO4 (the latest version) you can format the tasks, such as Bold, italic, fonts in different colours, background colours etc.

Thanks & Regards.

The workaround is to filter out given context in the list, then multiselect all tasks, then change formatting of all tasks at once. Obviously, you have to do this manual maintenance once in a while to format newly added tasks.

Radek, you are a genius!  I never thought of this capability.

But could you do the same thing with Auto-format rules?  I use those all the time.

If my idea works, you’re still a genius 😊. But then I’m one too 😊 😊!

Thank you for this idea, but the whole point is to have it done automatically
The best I could find is to create context based on emoji (for instance ⏰) and parameter tasks appearance with contexts on bottom right
This way I have a small icon appearing, which enables me to see things at a glance
