Hi all folks.
I know that on MLO Android the flags are not managed yet.

I would ask the developer team to please consider adding the management of the flags.

At present about all the flag functionalities are already active (advanced filtering, predefined views). Furthermore, if you set-up a filtering rule based in the flags, whan selecting the flag value you can see a flag list with the proper icon of the flag, also if the flag icon is a customized one by MLO desktop. Wonderful!

What is still missing seems to me only this (IMPORTANT!):

- editing the flags for a task.

Why? It seems a really incomplete management... what a sad function...

Thank you. Cheers!

Roberto,

Flags already implemented and we are finishing the tests with the beta team. We are solving the issue now when the same flag should look a bit different on different platforms after sync to be consistent with design of this platform (iOS, Android, Windows).

Thanks,
Andrey.

I would thank you, Andrey!
I was almost sure that you were working on it, the flag function was one step back to be completed, it seemed quite strange that you leaved it at the current state.
Thanks again, for me and for the people that in the past asked for it!

Suggestion: please... availability of at least another synced-order custom view...

I would post my usage of the flags and a proposal for a improvement of the synced views.
My week is now represented by seven flags (Mon, Tue,...) plus two other more for "Urgent to plan" and "Future"
My daily planning consists on moving the tasks in the right day (flag). Very sane, my mind is mirrored on MLO.

A limit of this approach is that the order of the tasks set on MLO-desktop looks different from the MLO Android, as MLO-Android performs only synced-order view ("Star-view"), that is not customizable.
I think that at least another synced-orded view (custom view) is generally needed to well manage situations like mine and I think those of several other people (based on the forum issues).

Furthermore, the day Google calendar will be synced with MLO I think we will get the top.

Thank for the consideration for the suggestions.

MLO, after 4 years of use, is still the only place where I can think to the organization of my daily life, my wishes, my info, past events and so on. Great work, Andrey. Please extend my congratulations to all the team!

Yes, it is AWESOME that we finally got this one!

I also use flags for the time framing (not weekdays but something similar to manage time horizon) and I shuffle them around.
It's the only way I can stay sane with it. I can't work straight off the computed to-do list. Too many options.

But on Android I had to make a hack with a view grouped by flag and then dragged them around to change the flag. Not easy.
