Start Date Display

I would like to see just a date here and not -20 days etc.

I've seen a request from 2008 to change this or make it customizable. I'm wondering if any thing has happened since then

Is there now any way to change this to see only the date?

Hi, Jon. Are you trying to do this in the Start Date column of a task list in the center, or is it in the Start Date field in the task properties panel on the right side of the screen?
