I am a new  MLO user, great tool indeed.
Any news from MLO team about Evernote integrations and html task by emails?
I see many users asked for them. Those are crucial features in 2015.

regards
Francesco

Also, wifi-syncing more than one device with the desktop (e.g. Tablet
and phone) - currently you can configure only one device.

Hi, Christoph and Francesco.

1. Evernote integration
What people often do is to hit the command in Evernote that gets you a
URL for your current note (I would guide you to the command but my
desktop's unavailable, if you need this please come back and say so and
I'll get it for you) then paste it into the task note. Does this work
for you? If not please describe how you would like the integration to work.

2. html task by emails
I'm not sure what you are asking for. "Task by email" (TBE) is a current
feature of MLO cloud sync. If you need help finding or using it please
come back and say so. If you are looking for an email interface that
does not require a cloud subscription you could request it but the devs
have been unreceptive to this suggestion in the past. TBE includes the
ability to receive html-coded emails, which are reformatted as plain
text when the task is created. If you are looking to have the html
formatting preserved in the created task, then you need rich text
formatting of task notes first. This is a longstanding and popular
request. We know that the devs are aware of it but they have not yet
committed to building it. There have been bugs in the past where certain
html-formatted emails do not get reformatted as plain text so that the
task note ends up full of html commands like <em>this</em>. If this is
happening to you, please check if you have a certain email that always
evades reformatting and if so, save it and come back to let us know.

3. multi-device wifi sync.
The position of the devs on this is that MLO will sync unlimited numbers
of devices but only two at a time. After syncing A with B you can then
go into either device A or device B and unpair it, then re-pair it with
device C and continue. For users who have suggested that this is too
difficult, the proposed resolution has been to use cloud sync.-Dwight

Yes, this works. After pasting into MLO, you need to put a "file:"
before the evernote:// link.

Would be nice to have drag&drop support in both directions, though.

Re-pairing is way too difficult and not a practical solution.

Cloud sync is not an alternative if you don't like to store your private
data in the cloud, as a matter of principle. For me, a manual wifi sync
on-demand to my phone and tablet is more than sufficient.

I am a MLO cloud sync subscriber. Html body of emails sent to MLO is an "must have". Asked to Devs too and they said they are working on it.
Good to know.

Francesco,

I am not sure what you mean by html task by emails. However, I use taskclone to send tasks from the body of evernote notes to my MLO. Once set up I just put a check box in the evernote note and the tag taskclone. On the next sync, it will send a task to my MLO file.

I find it works well for me.

Task by emails is currently limited to plain text task only. That's why i asked for development status of rich text emails. That's a great feature.
I know taskclone, but i don't want to pay for an other service. I am simply using the copy/paste evernote to MLO.

Hi, Francesco. Over the years there have been many requests by various channels for an enhancement to MLO to permit rich text in the task note. Developers have indicated that they are aware of this request and also that they are aware of the broad support for the request. They have not to my knowledge committed to implementing it, however there has been some discussion of choice of technology (RTF, markup, markdown and others) and also issues about how to roll something out like this across multiple platforms that will not all update at once.

In my opinion the most effective place for requests like this is JIRA, a discrepancy-tracking tool used by the developers and open to beta testers. I have updated the pending request for richly formatted task notes (MLOBETA-188 for anyone with Jira access) to specify that implementation needs to also address providing for Task By Email to convert richly formatted emails into richly formatted tasks.
