Is there a way to import indented tasks with notes

Hi,

I have a file exported from ListPro that has indent level information (it's a tab-delimited text file and the indent level is an integer in the first field). It also has notes (in a third field).

Is there a way to import this into MLO so tasks are properly indented and with the correct notes?

Hi, not sure about the notes, but have you tried the Rapid Task Entry dialog?  That should handle the hierarchy for you.

I know that there is a cut off after a certain number of characters, and the then the rest ends up in the notes - but i am not sure at what point that is...

You have to set up the RTE box to recognise new lines as new entries, I think.

You can set what proportion of the text gets pushed into the note. Go into Tools - Options, and in the popup window select General Application Options - Rapid Task Entry dialog. I've got mine set to push text beyond 100 characters into the note, but I'm thinking of reducing this limit further.
