I know about "Insert link to file" but it would be great if I could
use rich formatting in task info to directly embed images (or other
file attachments).

Any plans for that?

Thanks,
Vitaly

As the adoption of Evernote shows, the ability to add images to tasks grows more and more important.

Rich text task descriptions would be a big step forward for MLO. Images can be linked form, or encoded within XML files, so the infrastructure already supports this.

+1 this would be great for pasting whiteboard photos from meetings into notes.

Hi,

Does anyone know if this is planned? I'm trying out MLO as a replacement for Omnifocus (I have had to move off Mac) - one of my common use cases was to take a photo and attach to a task - especially useful for things like "Pick up screws from hardware store" etc.

Cheers
Ben

Task notes now allow Markdown, but the image file is not imbedded.
