Hi all

First-post noob here, started to work with MLO5 last week, and I think I'll use it for the rest of my life :)

Being quite a keyboard centric person, I'd love to set everything to work with keys that are easy for me to use/remember. I need to add that I have plenty of keyboard shortcuts already outside MLO, some of them have been ported from my old Linux days into Windows using autohotkey. They're really important to me.

Anyway, I actually wanted to do a few things in this area.
  • Use "x" instead of space to tick a task
I didn't find this setting in the GUI, the space isn't even mentioned in the help file
  • Use ALT-ENTER to add a new task on the same level
I keep pressing ALT-ENTER, don't ask me why. That's the reason I tried to set it in the options dialog, but it doesn't accept my "ENTER" key :-(

As well, I would love to use the keyboard without modifiers. If no editable field is in focus, the keyboard could just work like this. If in edit mode, ESC would let you escape out of it. I can imagine that this is not something easily implementable, so everything boils down to these questions:
  1. How do I change the shortcut for "Toggle Checkbox"?
  2. How do I use ALT-ENTER as key to insert a new task?
  3. Is it planned (or even possible!) to use the keyboard for some tasks without modifiers?

I don't mind fiddling around in XMLs if required.

Cheers

André

Hi
An idea, you can use autohotkey to substitute shortcuts.

Hey Andrew

I'm already using ahk for plenty of things, but if there's a built-in way I'd prefer this ;-)

Cheers

André
