MyLifeOrganized (Standard for Windows) consistently crashing - extremely frustrating!

I am a paid user and I have been using this tool for a month or so.

Earlier it crashed a couple of times but there was nothing to be alarmed about!

However from today, MLO is consistently crashing. I had set up few alerts earlier and whenever I am launching MLO today, a reminder popup is flashing (which is expected since I did set it up) and then the "Reminders" window is freezing which I can't dismiss/snooze etc. As a result whole MLO is being rendered unusable.

Why is this happening all of  sudden? Is it due to some new updates since nothing changed from my OS (operating system) perspective. I don't quite recall whether I had set up for automatic update of MLO.

I am simply not able to use the tool now since it's freezing few seconds after the launch, immediately on popping up of the Reminders window.

Please HELP!

I've had many years of very stable operation with MLO (even with the beta versions). However, something similar did happen to me once. It turned out that my MLO outline file had been corrupted at some point. They way to spot it was to open the xls outline in Notepad (or Notepad++ which can colour-code the xls tags) and scroll down to see where the pattern in the item descriptions changes.

The other alternative is to open one of your backup or archive files and see if it's more stable. If you have no backups, you can always start a new MLO outline, add some dummy items into it and see if it runs stable - that, at least, narrows the problem down to the outline file rather than the .exe application itself.

Good luck with searching for the corruption - That's not a fun situation to be in.
