Instead of using OneNote and having to review/organize/sync another complicated app I find myself taking notes in MLO more and more

I have a context @notes and notification widget to just add notes. MLO is not as easy to use as onenote when viewing content but it's much faster to input notes and ideas in Android with the notification widgets. However MLO can't store image and other content well

Does anyone else use MLO as the primary note/idea app and what is your process and workarounds

I used to do that, but I'm now using OneNote a lot more at work, for collaborative work of notes, input from the web, etc and drafting up inspection reports, meeting minutes and the text for reports. (I still use MLO for notes for home, though).

I don't use a category for notes - Most of my notes are linked to a specific task, but where they are general information, I hold them in folder items.

MLO works well with links, so I insert hyperlinks to documents, pictures, OneNote pages, etc on my laptop, or my Office 365 OneDrive, as well as external websites.

Searching for a word in the notes in MLO
If I search for a word  in the desktop version, MLO will highlight the result which is handy if the result in somewhere in a very long note. If I search for the same word in the IOS version, it will not highlight the result in the note text,  but it will show you the caption so you know that there is a search result somewhere in the notes of that task. You just don't don't where exactly.
