There is a built-in view called "Active Starred" that shows everything in a flat list that is starred. Is there a way to show starred items in their native habitat - the hierarchy view? I'd want to see something like what you see below. Only show items that are starred along with all its ancestors (regardless of whether starred or not). I've tried various flavors of filters and can't get it to work.

Health
   STAR Fix my knee problem
      STAR Call for appointment
STAR Christmas vacation 2017
Money
   Pay bills
      STAR Call about overdue notice

One thing I read in another post was that the top-level filter conditions ONLY apply to the root items in my hierarchy. So if I set a top level advanced filter to include starred items, then "Call for appointment" would not show up because "Health" isn't starred. When you click the Config button next to the show hierarchy option, there are sub-options for "Include parent" and "Include children" and "Highlight matched", all of which I don't really understand.

That's easy. Under Filters - General select "Show Hierarchy: Yes", and
under "Advanced" select "Starred: True".

You can either modify the existing view or add a new one.
