Can MLO run on an Apple laptop (using simulated Windows software)?

I want to buy an Apple computer so I can pursue IOS app development, but I need to run MLO. Any experience with running a Windows emulator on Apple? Thanks

Hi John, I use an Apple 12" Macbook, running VMWare Fusion from within OSX, especially for MLO and some other indispensible Windows-based programs. Works like a charm!

I got MLO working on a Chromebook (Google Pixelbook) using the Linux container (crostini) and Wine (and a bit of winetricks).
Can you get Wine to work on the Macbook?
