2nd attempt at posting - sync from cloud to old laptop has resurrected old tasks. How to restore?

As above, did a sync to an old laptop from cloud. Large number of changes but seems the old laptop has resurrected some old tasks into the cloud that I'd already archived or completed.

Is there a way to restore from a pre-sync revision of the cloud copy? Doesn't seem to be a revision history available on the cloud site or desktop app, just local revision history.
