Hi,

I love to use the "Move to" task keyboard shortcut Ctrl+M to quickly move task from my inbox after a brain dump into their appropriate projects and parent tasks. I noticed that when I move tasks, the task is moved to the bottom of the project or the parent task. The problem for me with this is that I set "Complete subtasks in order" for most of my project/parent tasks so the task I moved from my inbox won't be an active task if I have other open tasks previously in the project/parent.

Is there a way to change this behavior so that the task is always moved to the top instead? That way, the task would be active in my "Active Actions" view and dealt with in a timely manner rather than blocked because it is automatically moved to the bottom of a parent/project task.

If this is not possible, I appreciate any workarounds!

Thank you in-advance and I love love MLO!!

There is no way to change this behavior. But you can use Drag&Drop as workaround:

If the project/parent task you moveto is collapsed, drag & drop puts the subtask as the last subtask in the list; otherwise, if the task  is expanded, drag &drop puts it as the first subtask  in the list.

...and to make drag and drop work quicker, you can open a second window onto your outline by pressing F3.

Thank you Steph and Aloyna! This work around will work for me!
