Android shortcut for WiFi Sync

I understand that automatic syncing is not going to happen but I'm hoping that we can get some way to sync between the PC and Android that doesn't involve so many steps since I do it several times a day.  The obvious way to do it is to to include a shortcut in the Android version that will initiate a sync.  Then all I have to do is press a button on my Android home screen.
