Hello,
Is it possible to recover a deleted task without doing a restore file?

For recovering a recently deleted task, you can use "Edit --> Undo" / <Ctrl>+z.
But AFAIK there is no recycle bin for tasks, so you have to use your backup file (once the task is backed up).

Not direct answering to your question.
For me, I created a recycle folder, instead of deleting it, I always put them in the that folder.

Thank you this seems to be the best option. Great suggestion. I will definitely do this. I am going to avoid the delete option entirely.

I just drag and drop it into the folder manually, maybe I am not having many folder,  that addition folder did not bordering me too much.
For mobile version, I am not sure will this work smoothly.

You also can set the Recycle folder to show at the top or bottom, and make it hide the inside tasks by setting the view filter.

I am also new in MLO, hope someone know a better way to handle this situation.

Suggestion, call the folder Recycle

From Windows: select one of the following

  1. using your mouse, grab the task and drag it to the recycle folder
  2. select the task, hit Ctrl-M and type RECYCLE. check if the recycle folder is highlighted on the Move To popup. (it will be unless you have other items whose names start with "recycle") then hit enter on your keyboard.
  3. right-click on the task and select "Move To" from the popup menu. Continue from "type RECYCLE" above

From Android:

swipe the task from right to left to reveal the Task Preview pane. scroll to the bottom to find the MOVE TASK button. hit it to get the Move To pane. Find the recycle folder, select it and click "√MOVE TASK" at the top right.

The hard part of this is "find the recycle folder" when you first do it but after you do it a dew time it will start showing in in the shortcuts or favorites.

From IOS:

Probably very similar to Android

In Windows, just hit Ctrl-Z. Should come right back, no mess, no fuss.
