New user here.
Loving this software. Amazing job.
It just almost hits the jackpot for me.

What I'm lacking is what I deem to be a more efficient navigation.
Navigation is by default some 4 key presses too much.

Let's say I want to get to a specific entry to edit it.
I need to press Ctrl+l type the EXACT sub-string (which is another point I'll get to later)
then if there is a hierarchy or a few results I have to key-down until I get to the desired entry.

My suggestion:
Filter as you type.

This whole program is ripe and perfect just for that.
Every functionality is assigned to a Modifier+Key structure,
making way for the ability to just start typing. from. wherever. you. are.
Unless inside an input box. But that's only fair.
Other then that, there's absolutely no reason why it shouldn't behave like that.

Saved at least 3 key-strokes already.

My other point regarding navigation is the search algorithm.
I understand a full substring (AKA fuzzy) search might cost in performance in a large file.
Fine, add it as a checkbox behavior not for the faint of heart.
But the benefits could be ten fold - just imagine I have two inboxes - home and office,
having the substring "hmbx" being rightfully exapnded into "home inbox",
and not, as it is now, "home<SPACE>i" minimum,
PLUS pressing return is not needed because I filtered to 1 result
and I could go straight to the desired command - Zoom, Change context etc.

Now compare the two options.
Would be happy to know what you think.

Humbly yours,
Crimson
