Hi,

Since this is my first post, I just have to say - this is a great product! I've been using it for quite a while and am very happy.

I've just upgraded from an old version (1.X I think).
In the older version, when I opened the move-to dialog, the completed tasks were hidden.
Now they are not.
I can hide them, but it requires a click or key combination, and after I hide them I can no longer search unless I click alt+F again...

This makes the feature, which I use A LOT, much less powerful. It's clumsy and I keep needing to reach to the mouse - it makes my work slower.

Is there a configurable preference that can hide the completed tasks by default?

If not - I believe the dialog should remember the state in which it was last closed.

Thanks,
Shai

I am find this slightly annoying myself.  Wish the move dialog would default to hide completed :-/

Well, although MLO team has not replied (which is a shame, I would think that they would), I found a work-around.

The move-to dialog does not remember if you chose to hide completed items, but it does remember the view you used. So I created a view that has a filter and does not show completed items, and I use that view.
Details:
  1. Create a new view, and select it.
  2. On the bottom left, click "filter"
  3. Choose "show completed == no"
  4. Save the filter.
  5. Go back to the outline view
  6. do move-to.
  7. Below the "filter" in the move-to dialog there's a "view" drop down.
  8. Select the new view that you just created.
That's it.
