Hello

Is there any quick way to count the number of items in a view?
e.g. How can I count the number of Starred item I have?

I was hoping that the very bottom row of the screen might show the number of rows selected, much like ms Excel does...

Thanks

J

If you multiple select, the number of tasks selected is shown at the top of the properties pane where the task caption normally goes.

Good idea, Ken. Here's another. Pick some grouping attribute that puts all of your items into the same group. For example, if you are not using flags, set up "Group byFlag'. At the top of your list it will say: Flags: none (nnn) where nnn is the item count.

Wow - how right you are Pottster. How bizarre that I never spotted that!
Apologies for dumb question, but thanks both for your replies.  :)
