Hi

Does MLO have any way to create a live 'mindmap'?

i.e. Does MLO allow 3rd party plugins? Is there a published API for MLO or anything similar planned?

I think I saw that a couple of years ago there is no API. In which case what is the best way to generate a mindmap from MLO?  I currently use MindManager v10, which is OK... but is also horribly expensive and I am trying to wean myself off using it.

Hello John,

I use the brilliant iThoughts on an iPad for my mind mapping (also available on Mac, but sadly not on PC). I then have to copy and paste branches into MLO, either direct on my iPad or via exporting the mind map to FreePlane on my PC (cheaper at £0, but clunkier than MindManager). To paste the tasks (as a flat list, not with hierarchy, unfortunately):
On the iPad - tap and hold an item, select "clipboard" and then you have to option to paste the list as subtasks or siblings;
On the PC - choose Task - Advanced - Paste text as subtasks (Ctrl-Alt-V).

Regards,
Stéphane

Hmm - nothing LIVE though, right?

iThoughs looks interesting and pretty but no use to a Windows PC user like me.
