Hi,

Love MLO, each day a little bit more :)

However, I ran into a strange behavior: when I assign a hotkey (alt+O) for Outlook synchronization, which works fine, next time after a restart of MLO the hotkey assignment is no longer there.
Any ideas?

Thanks,
René

If you assign another hotkey, will it be there?

No, I tried a couple of hotkey combinations but none of them are remembered.

Please check if your hotkey is present in the registry after you quit MLO:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\myLifeOrganized.net\MyLife\Settings\HotKeys

If it is there, start and quit MLO, then check the hotkey in the registry again. Maybe something resets your settings.

Also, please specify how you assign a hotkey (step by step). Is there another app active at the same time which may have the same hotkey combination?

When Ik quit MLO I see an entry in the MLO settings hotkey part in the registry:

 actQuickOutlookConnect    Reg_DWord    0x0000c04f (49231)

As far as I know there is no other app using the same combination of keys. No other app responds.

Adding the hotkey:
Tools - Options - Hotkeys
scroll down to and select Sync Outlook
select Hotkey field and enter the required hotkey (in my case alt.gr & o, which results into 'CTRL + ALT + O' in the Hotkey field) - Modify - Apply - OK
