Hi, I am just curious if there is a setting, on the Windows version, to automatically close one property section when I select another?
This would save a lot of clicking and scrolling when setting up a new task, etc.
(I know about the Alt-2, Alt-3 hotkeys, but these also require keying in something...

I don’t think I’d want sections to be closing as I’m working on them, but what are your thoughts on an auto-close that closes sections after you haven’t used them for a pre-set amount of time, like 5-10 minutes?  I use Mindjet, which has that feature.  The result is I never need to hide/collapse anything because the software does it for me. My specific recommendation was to close the view and properties panes, rather than the sections.

Or do you still prefer auto-collapsing sections?

Take Care,

I vote for this feature also, the sidebar has a switch 'all open'/ 'all closed', but I still struggle with screen real-estate (the note visible at the top right and the properties sections stacked beneath - when I have a few open they crowd out the note).

It would be useful for each property section to expand one at a time i.e. the others would remain closed, and per OP the crucial difference being that the opening of a section would close the previous one. This wouldn't detract from the existing switches, but be a third option.

Currently, one has to click to close one section then another click again to open the next - with 6(?) properties sections that's a lot of clicking to input a single task...
