cloud syncing between apple and PC

Hi
Is it possible and safe to sync between apple and PC platforms?
Are there any issues to be aware of when doing this.
Is it not recommended to do this or is it as safe as syncing within one platform?

It’s perfectly safe and in fact the cloud is the only way to do it. I sync daily between multiple Windows PCs and Android and iOS devices. Rarely a glitch.

Agreed. I sync between windows, iPadOS, and Linux. I wish my old Palm pilot synched as well!
