I often use hotkey Alt-Left to jump to the previously selected task.

If I do this from a view with completed tasks hidden, and the previously selected task is a completed task, then a new workspace tab called "All Tasks" gets created, using the built-in view "All Tasks", and the focus jumps to that view.
This makes sense, since the task I am trying to get to doesn't exist in the view I started in.

What I don't like is that another new "All Tasks" tab is created every time I do this.
And I already have a permanently pinned workspace tab called "All Tasks", which uses the built-in "All Tasks" view.  The focus never jumps to this tab, but a new one is always created.
So if I am doing a lot of navigating between tasks, I often end up with multiple "All Tasks" tabs which I have to delete.

Am I missing something, or does this sound like a bug?

Steve: You have a tab which is displaying the all-tasks view. Is this tab the first one, all the way on the left? If not, please try moving it all the way to the left and see if the problem goes away

Thanks, Dwight.  You are correct.
My left-most pinned tab is my Outline view with completed tasks hidden.
The All-Tasks tab was the second pinned tab.  If I move the All-Tasks tab to the first position, then the navigation works yhe was I was looking for.
