Hello

Is there a hotkey way to give focus to the current View in the left hand pane?

I tried setting the hotkey for "Task Views Pane"  [Tools==>Options ==> Hotkeys ==> View ==> Task Views Pane], but it just get the whole pane to disappear/reappear.

IMHO, it would be extremely useful to be able to do this on a hokey because once you have the current View with focus, (if the current Tab is not locked) one can then use the arrow key to move between successive View simply by using the keyboard up/down arrow keys.

If you open the view pane (Alt-F1), you can hit the tab key to get into the list of views. If your current focus is on the item in the main (list or hierarchy) view, then pressing the tab key once will move your focus into the view pane.

Repeated pressing of the tab key cycles focus through various fields in a slightly weird way, but I guess it would be possible to learn how many times to press tab to get to the fields you want.

Sanity check: I have got Alt+F1 set to "Task Views Pane" (which I am hoping is the default setting).
So if I hit Alt+F1, the Task views pane toggles between appearing and disappearing, however it doesn't seem to change what has focus.

But yes, if I have focus on the item in the main view, then pressing Tab once does give me focus on the List of Views.
However it only does it if that whole pane on the left is actually SHOWING views, rather than the Filters operating in that view.

So my next question is: Is there any way to jump between showing the Filters and showing the list of View names?

Cheers

Sorry, that goes beyond what I know. I think there probably isn’t, just as there isn’t a hotkey to collapse the properties sub-pane.
