Hi everyone,

I've used MLO for a few years. I just joined this group to ask this question. When I updated my PC to Windows 10, the keyboard shortcuts for moving items were lost - Shift+Alt+arrow keys. They seem to have been overridden by new Windows shortcuts. I searched for MLO's little Options window several times to change them, and although I was pleasantly distracted by discovering many other useful shortcuts I don't use and don't have time to memorise, the most important ones which I need to change couldn't be found. I did search the MLO forum before joining expecting that surely someone else has had this problem. Is the solution too obvious to mention? Anyone?

Hi Jonathan,

I am also on Windows 10 but Shift+Alt+arrow keys work as normal for me. Windows global keyboard shortcuts usually involve the windows key. Have you tried resetting the hotkeys to their defaults to see if that helps? (Tools>Options>General Application Options>Hotkeys>Reset all to default... -make a note of your custom settings first). Have you set this key combination via a key remapper such as AutoHotkey? Has another application set this as a global combination?

Aha! It was another application after all, which had been using the hotkey since the upgrade to replace one which Win 10 usurped. Thank you for the suggestion of possibilities to check Pottster - problem solved.

Let me, in my turn, express my gratitude to Jonathan, since he revealed existence of very useful shortcuts, which, indeed, are not shown in the list tools/options/hotkeys.

Cheers!
