I wanted to start contributing to this project in my spare time for learning purposes. This is my first open source project. Can someone please guide me on how to start or is this a big project for me to start with?

Yes Ethan, I know it will be hard for me, I just want to give it a try, even if i am not able to contribute here, the learning will be useful. I will try to understand mybatis deeply. I am planning to go through the unit tests and the source code documentation. Can you please tell me where can I find the source code documentation?  Can you also please suggest me other ways which can help me understand the code base better.
