Hi experts,

I have data of event-related fMRI task (Rapid ER-FMRI with "jittered" ISI design). My inquiries are:
1-How can I set the timing of conditions in seconds, not in volumes?
2-I need to make a classifier that based on activation patterns of two conditions and then I need to use this classifier to make predictions at each TR. Could you please suggest the best way to perform this using this toolbox?

Sincerely
Adu

Hi Adu,

Re #1) There's no way to specify things in terms of seconds rather than volumes. To keep your life simple, use a TR of an integer number of seconds (e.g. 2s/TR), then at least it's straightforward to map each TR to 2-second-blocks.

2) Read the tutorials. If you have a specific question you're welcome to ask, though this discussion group is pretty quiet nowadays.

Hi Greg Detre,

Thanks for your reply. I am sorry, I didn't explain my inquiry well. I meant in my first question that my task design is a rapid event-related, in which some conditions occurred in 2secs. So if the TR is 2secs and one of the conditions is just 2 seconds, and this condition started in the middle of this TR and finished in the middle of the next TR. How can I input the conditions correctly?

Sincerely
Adu
