Hello everyone,
I am working on a multilayer MuMax3 simulation with the following structure:
- Bottom CoFeSiB: 4 nm
- Non-magnetic spacer: 0.5 nm
- Top CoFeSiB: 4 nm
Simulation parameters:
- Cell size: 2 × 2 × 0.5 nm³
- Grid size: 150 × 150 × 17
- Circular geometry (300 nm diameter)
The simulation runs successfully and generates around 503 OVF files for the complete time evolution.
My supervisor asked me to analyze the magnetization orientation of the top and bottom CoFeSiB layers separately during the entire simulation.
However, when I open the OVF files in MuView, I only see the complete multilayer together and cannot separate the top and bottom magnetic layers.
Is there a way in the MuMax3/MuView workflow to:
1. Visualize only the bottom CoFeSiB layer (layers 0–7)?
2. Visualize only the top CoFeSiB layer (layers 9–16)?
3. Do this for the complete sequence of OVF files (not just a single OVF file)?
For reference:
-MuMax version :3.10
- Viewer : MuView 2.2.2
Any guidance or recommended workflow would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
