camera setting filename type options and syntax

Hey Andrew,

Do you have an example of what format the "camera settings filename" that strand-cam will accept? (specifically I am interested in basler/pylon).

Also, is there a place where I can verify the correct name to use for each option? (i.e. is exposure referred to as exposure, exposure_time, Exposure, etc.)

Hi Floris,

For Basler cameras, camera settings are stored in a “.pfs" file. Read more about it here: https://docs.baslerweb.com/knowledge/saving-camera-features-or-user-sets-as-a-file-on-hard-disk

You can verify .pfs files by loading them in Basler Pylon and checking the options are set as you desired.
