Hey, all!

We have wood chips being dropped sometime Monday, 10/4. We have agreed with Eco Terra (whose parking lot we are using to access the spot) that we will have any chips spilled on the asphalt cleaned up by Wednesday. 

They have also asked that some branches left on their side of the fence be cleaned up. I'm not sure where those came from. Perhaps they were forgotten when we had tree work done a couple of months ago. 

Would a couple of folks be willing to take care of these two tasks by Wednesday? It would be much appreciated!

Scratch that. JUST got an email from Boutte that it will not be Monday. Possibly Thursday. I will confirm as soon as I know.

Okay, let's try this again. 

We're on for chips to be dropped next Thursday, 10/7. Here is my original email. Please let us know if you're willing to help with these two tasks by Saturday next week.

Darn, I wish the chips had come sooner as we are heading into a rainy period.  I’ll find a way to clean up the branches and place lots of chips on cardboard between showers.

Be sure to specify that boutte tree needs to back up all the way to they parking lot edge so they dump on the ground and not on the parking lot

So, just a couple of thoughts on this. In past Boutte deliveries I think it has typically taken us two weekends to get the chips off that property and into our designated areas of need. If we really only have three days I think we're going to have to limit the size of the pile Boutte drops, or we will again incur the wrath of our neighbor. I can't remember if they can regulate the size of their drop but we would do well to figure this part out. D.B.

It's only the chips on the asphalt that need to be cleaned up by Saturday. Not the whole pile. They just want the spots free for parking.

that's why boutte tree needs to keep their chip dump off the lot.

Joy, if they bring a big load, it's still a huge amount to move. No matter where it's dropped . We've been there.

I was able to clarify with Eco Terra that they are okay with the pile staying there for a few weeks while we work on moving it as long as the parking lot is totally clean within a couple of days of dropping.

Already responded to this on another thread, but reiterating here that the entire pile does not have to be moved within a certain period of time.

I just got confirmation from Eco Terra that the chips are being dropped off now. To those who are willing to help sweep up any spillage on the lot, please try to do so by the end of the weekend.

All, I swung by the lot on my way in this morning to find that the chips were dropped almost entirely on the asphalt in spite of my multiple requests to drop them as far back as possible. I'm sorry about that. I'm talking with Boutte so we can hopefully prevent this in the future. In the meantime, thank you to Stacey and all others in advance for helping to move the pile as soon as possible.

Not likely unfortunately. I still haven't heard back from John since attempting to contact him this morning. I'll let you know if that's a possibility.
