Hi,

What is the way to completely disable mtail log using mtail's command line properties?
The problem I have faced is if i get runtime errors i achieve run out of space very fast.

Check the -help for all flags to affect logging in the meantime, but also I'll add a flag to turn off runtime error logging.

Hello,
Thanks for your reply

It doesn't help
We are using mtail version v3.0.0-rc20

I started mtail process with the options:
/usr/local/bin/mtail -port 3904 --progs /etc/mtail/progs/ --logs /mnt/atia.log --vmodule=vm=0

and log is still growing in:
/tmp/mtail.d7dbb0efcbc2.root.log.INFO.20200217-080740.8

mostly it is runtime errors, but it is OK for us, all we need is just disable any logging

I haven't actually tried this! But I think if you set --vmodule=vm=0 it should disable all messages from the vm package.
