My wife filed for our permit yesterday....... she said the Town of Brookhavens site is a pain to navigate, but all done. Fee went up $75.

After trying at least 12 times I finally got connected and purchased permit. I would like to blame myself but definitely something is up with Towns website. Can’t wait for second round to purchase dinghy permit. Thank you all for response

Hallo Robert, I renewed my mooring permit yesterday online. The  software is  a bit problematic but it works in principle.

The mooring permit fee went up $75? Anyone  know why, it literally cost the town nothing for a mooring in the water.

They could get rid of the harbor master who does absolutely nothing and save the salary and the cost of the boats/trucks/facility. The tax paying citizens could have a few bucks and it could keep boating affordable. At the meeting it was said the docks went up quite alot too.

Thank You,
Kenneth Nilsen
