Invoicing App recommendations

Hey all!

I am considering replacing Freshbooks (my invoicing app) and am open to other ideas if other apps have the features I use. What apps do you all use for sending invoices?

Features I still need if possible:

- clients view invoice and pay via credit card online

- allow my contractors to go into their own accounts and log their time, in a way that gets added to client invoices automatically

- recurring expenses (for end of year bookkeeping)

interested to hear what other people use!

A friend of mine uses and recomends https://getharvest.com/,  but I do not use it yet.

Hi David, yes the reason I'm thinking of switching away from Freshbooks is because at the end of the month they are ending support for Stripe Standard accounts. They are requiring all users to have a Stripe "Unified" account which is not the same and not compatible with many of the features I use (such as manual charges to a customer's saved card). So I would be forced to sign up for a brand new (separate) stripe account, thus having one stripe account for freshbooks and another for the rest of my business. So stupid!! I have a feeling I'll end up having to do it anyway, but I hate it.

Oh yes I remember Harvest -- I will check them out again to see if they do what I need. Thanks.

Anybody else want to share what they're using?

I've used Harvest for a long time.  They work fine with the normal Stripe account.

Has anyone ever tried to remove an archived website from the wayback machine?

Working with a non profit receiving MANY threats for their support of many issues of social justice after their name was picked up in the news. They reduced their website presence, and now news articles are reference their former site in the wayback machine.

I have formally gone through the process of requesting it come down, but have had no response.

If you have any experience to offer, would love a conversation. If you are able to help get it removed, the organization is also able to pay for assistance.

No followed the steps on the wayback engine site which are similar, but not identical to these. This is very helpful. Thanks. For whatever reason my googling didn’t produce this exact document.

Still interested if anyone has done this.

I've gotten archive.org to remove pages before but it was due to there being personal information available in the URL. I'm not sure if this qualifies in the same way. They do follow up in my experience though. You could keep trying to at least get a response.

The process involves adding a .txt file to your website to verify that you are the owner. That's the extent of my expertise here. Maybe someone else has more specific information or experience. Good luck!
