I came up with the idea of creating a monophonic hybrid (digital mozzi synths and end envelopes / Analogue filter and vca) synth.
But honestly i dont know much about electronics.
I was thinking of using a rpi pico, a few DACS (i have a bunch of mcp4822s) and incorporating a k35 clone filter which can be found on the internet.
my goal is to replicate the simplicity of the layout found in the synth part of my beloved korg monotribe.
But beyond this point im kinda lost because i said i dont really know much about electronics.
I asked chatgpt and it said i would need level matching and vcas.
but i dont know whats the simplest way to implement those.
so basically this is a request for any advice you can give me.
i intend on open sourcing the thing once it's finished, and i will make of the most readily available components and use through hole isntead of smt to make it the easiest for new guys to cant afford store bought synths to build their own.
thank you very much in advance.
