Dear river folks, in my opinion, the last thing we need is another concentration of hundreds of cars located right on our sole exit out of here in the event of evacuations. There would be over 200 additional vehicles, and that's just for the incoming tourists staying there. It would involve way more fir the staffing necessary to run the place. It's scary and dangerous, and potentially deadly. Any claims to provide local jobs are ludicrous, as resort and hotel jobs are low wage, and the jobs would be for folks who can't afford to live around here, so that would be even more traffic into the area from places they can live to the low wage jobs here, again on our sole evacuation route.
And that doesn't even begin to address the chaos of construction vehicles in and out of our sole exit road for the area, and the additional strain on the local sewer system .
This is a terrible idea , and should be cancelled , to prevent certain chaos in all the areas I've mentioned.
Emphatically, Christmas
