  Hello everyone,
Metadata file that works correctly in GNPS Classic fails in GNPS 2. During a Feature-Based Molecular Networking (FBMN) run, the metadata is misinterpreted and renders column headers incorrectly, producing labels like:  ATTRIBUTE_MEDIA:GNPSGROUP:ISP3
Instead of recognizing standard ATTRIBUTE_* columns.
I did this: Prepared a tab-separated metadata file (TSV)
Column headers follow the format:
filename, ATTRIBUTE_EXTRACTION, ATTRIBUTE_MEDIA, ATTRIBUTE_STRAIN
Values contain only alphanumeric characters (e.g., mcx2, isp7, etc.)
Uploaded to GNPS 2 and linked to an FBMN job
The same metadata works perfectly in GNPS Classic FBMN.

Does anyone know what to do?
Thanks
 Misa

Hi Misa,

I htink the two steps forward -

1. can you show upload the metadata, GNPS1 and GNPS2 jobs
2. stop by my office hours
