Dear mojo developers,

I created the flatten-maven-plugin as a workaround for maven quirks and drawbacks and a kind of PoC to show how a maven 4.x+ could behave in the future.
It solved my personal issues...
As the maven core did not catch up as expected the flatten-maven-plugin got more important for maven users than I expected.
Users keep on raising feature requests and even pull requests.
This is great.

However, I am involved in many, many other OSS projects and turned out to be a bad maintainer for the plugin as reaction on issues and PRs are extremely delayed.
I am still happy to assist from time to time, but my little spare-time energy already focuses on other projects such as dynamic Java with m-m-m, teaVm, graalVm and I am very active in devonfw.com.
Sorry for that, but that is the way it is.

I therefore kindly ask the community if there are volunteers to either take over or to assist with maintaining flatten-maven-plugin.

Thanks
  Jörg

Hi. I would be happy to contribute as a maintainer as I have some contributions to the project and use it myself. My Github username is lasselindqvist.

Hi Lasse,

thanks for offering help.
I grated you write permissions.
@all: I could not find any processes or rules on that on mojohaus (E.g. https://www.mojohaus.org/development/guidelines.html - BTW: the page still contains some links to codehaus.org that are obviously dead).
So if we need a vote for this please let me know. As lasselindqvist has already provided some PRs and any help and progress would be better than none, I think agile and better go ahead than nowhere.
If I am doing abuse feel free to correct me and I will appologize ;)

Cheers Jörg
