MT3DMS

Dear colleagues,

I used ModelMuse for contamination transport model. But the MT3DMS does run completely and there is appeared an error message (please see attached file). My system type is 64 bit operating system. 

Please kindly let me know that how can I solve the problem.

Did you run MODFLOW first? It creates the .ftl file.

If you have MT3D active when you run MODFLOW, it will create the .fly file. However, make sure MODFLOW has printed that it terminated normally at the end. If not, you need to fix that problem.

Thank you so much my colleagues finally I have done. Please see the attached file. 

I defined k=1m/day and total time = 365 days. But the contaminant transported a little distance. Could you please let me know that what is the reason.

while working with visual modflow, the chlorife concentration is added and run it in MT3DMS. But error is shown. Why this happen?

Just a guess!!

Change solver settings and convergence criteria.

Choose a better solver if it does not work. Try going through journals/phd thesis which suggest which parameters to use in such models.
