Hydrologic Software Developers Needed

Hi All,

The USGS Water Resources Mission Area is seeking to fill a total of five (5) hydrologic software engineering positions within the Integrated Modeling and Prediction Division.  These 2-year positions will be filled through our UCAR partner.  We are interested in hiring software developers and hydrologists/hydrogeologists with strong quantitative skills and programming experience.  Selected candidates will work closely with MODFLOW developers to extend and broaden simulation capabilities.  Additional information and instructions for applying can be found online through the link below.

If your degree included programming and software development, especially related to numerical modeling of hydrologic processes, we encourage you to apply.  The job announcement provides some flexibility as noted by the following statement: 

"Please note that while the position description details both minimum requirements as well as desired skills and experience, we want to remind applicants that you do not need to have all the desired skills and experience to be considered for this role.
