If I had one of those no-touch thermometers, I would probably say O, Why not? But maybe she is telling us she is not vaccinated. What do the rest of you say about this?

Actually Steve thinks she is dodging the issue.  All my emails have been saying vaccines are required.  She would probably argue that break-thru infections are still possible.

Cynthia's message doesn't tell us what she is thinking.  If her thinking is that there is no Captain America Shield that will protect us from COVID 19 so we should use all the mitigating behaviors that are appropriate to the activity, then taking temperatures as people enter might give some comfort.  

We attend a chamber music venue in the East Bay that:

• Requires Vaccinations
• Requires Masks (on the premises, not just indoors)
• Has increased space between the seats
• Eliminated the Intermission and the pre and post concert discussions

All this is done so we can continue to enjoy the music while minimizing our exposure to disease.  

Susan does even more when she performs at a Retirement Home,

• Proof of Vaccination
• N95 Masks with face covered by a plastic shield
• Temperature is recorded
• Occimiter reading is recorded
• Disposable gown

All this is to walk through the building to the outdoor venue where they perform.

The symphony had a fund raiser outside, a quintet with Mozart at the Great Valley, everybody masked. What was more significant was the Prospect, vaccine cards and ID plus masks. Dennis remember the Bay Area particularly the City and Berkeley are much more civilized than here.
