I deleted the other thread and am making this new one because the other one was not clear.

I am using mod_pagespeed but can't get lazyload images to work.

My pagespeed.conf contains:
ModPagespeedEnableFilters lazyload_images
ModPagespeedLazyloadImagesAfterOnload off
But lazyloading doesn't happen.

When I try to debug, the bottom of the page source always says "The following filters were disabled for this request: Lazyload Images"

Would appreciate any help.

It's possible you hadn't gotten critical image results for your page yet (this is done by adding beaconing to your page, which might take a couple of page reloads).  I'm now seeing:

I see that, thanks!

Is there any way to configure it to always lazyload without first getting the critical image results? I'd like to have lazy loading from the first page load onwards.

If I add this:

ModPagespeedCriticalImagesBeaconEnabled false

Would it then lazyload on the first pass?

Thanks,
Amin

Yes, but it would lazy-load all the images without understanding which ones are generally initially visible to users (where lazyloading is harmful).

I tried it:

Although it now says "No filters were disabled for this request", visually I can see that no images are actually lazyloading.  Or if they are, they are doing so very quickly and not adhering to the ModPagespeedLazyloadImagesAfterOnload off directive.

Am I doing something wrong?
