Removing a user to have access to a channel, remove document on device?

Hey again, new day new problem.

Example: The user is given the option to leave the group and he does(no more access to the channel), but the document isn't getting removed on the device so the user couldn't possibly know if leaving the group was successful, the user probably thinks he's still in the group? But if he reinstalls the app he's removed from the group of course, but that's not so user friendly :p. 

Seems like a pretty big problem to have, what have i missed? // Do we have any "workaround"/"hack" or even a fix on this issue?
