there is a bug in the php docs:
http://docs.couchbase.com/developer/php-2.0/hello-couchbase.html

line:
$doc = $result->value;

should be

$doc = json_decode($result->value);

thought I would let you know.

This group is for mobile related issues, and that's a Couchbase SDK issue.  (short story, it's a different department)
