We're nearing the release of an update to our iOS app to move it from TouchDB to Couchbase Lite and we're wondering: which version of Couchbase Lite should we ship?

We've been doing most of our testing with "Couchbase Lite iOS 1.0.0 Enterprise" release. However, perusing the recent Github commits, it looks like a number of good fixes have been submitted since 1.0.

Do you plan to do a  1.0.1 or 1.1.0 release sometime soon? If so, will there be beta / test builds available?

Or, should we build our own binaries and test and use them "at our own risk"?

Also, we currently support iOS 6.1 with our app, but we're wondering if we should continue support for it. One question that we've considered about iOS 6 is whether there has been much community or other testing of Couchbase Lite on iOS 6? We only have a few iOS 6 in-house test devices and no beta users still running iOS 6, so we don't really get it "real world" tested ourselves. Has anyone else done much iOS 6 testing with Couchbase Lite? And how much longer do you think there will be support for iOS 6 in Couchbase Lite?

Thanks very much.

Yes — we have both 1.0.1 and 1.1 releases in the pipeline, but I don’t know if we have public release dates yet.

I think we’ll have some builds “soon”, but for now you can check out and build the release/1.0.1 branch.

Same here, to be honest.
I would like to drop iOS 6 support, maybe after 1.1, so that we can start using “new” APIs like NSURLSession. Apple says only a small fraction of users are still on iOS 6, and they tend to be the ones that don’t install apps either.
